The Cultural Centre of Old Aylmer

Located in what used to be the Law Courts, the new cultural centre in the old part of Aylmer offers a variety of shows in an intimate environment. Among the many offerings are theatre for the young and old, blues, and new music from artists that are local and from around the world. Be among the first to discover the Cultural Centre of Old Aylmer, the La Basoche Theatre, the Debain Gallery and the Lucie Vigneault Reception Hall.

Driving Directions To Aylmer Cultural Centre From Toronto

  • Take Hwy 401 for approx. 300 kms
  • Exit HWY-416 N exit- EXIT 721A- toward KEMPTVILLE/OTTAWA continue north for approx 85 kms.
  • Take the HWY-417 East exit toward OTTAWA
  • Take the CARLING AVE. exit- EXIT 124- toward KIRKWOOD AVE.
  • Stay STRAIGHT to go onto CARLING AVE, it will take a sharp left.
  • Turn SLIGHT LEFT onto ISLAND PARK DR
  • ISLAND PARK DR becomes PONT CHAMPLAIN which is the bridge that takes you into Quebec
  • Turn LEFT onto BOULEVARD DE LUCERNE
  • Turn SLIGHT RIGHT onto AVENUE FRANK-ROBINSON
  • Turn LEFT onto RUE PRINCIPALE
  • End at 120 Rue Principale
  • Parking is at the back of the building

  • Take Ottawa River Parkway or Queensway to Island Park Drive and head north into Quebec.
  • ISLAND PARK DR becomes PONT CHAMPLAIN which is the bridge that takes you into Quebec
  • Turn LEFT onto BOULEVARD DE LUCERNE
  • Turn SLIGHT RIGHT onto AVENUE FRANK-ROBINSON
  • Turn LEFT onto RUE PRINCIPALE
  • End at 120 Rue Principale
  • Parking is at the back of the building.
